| 5. Quite a few of you are complaining about the quality of the writing. Jander is especially vocal: "Should the new writers be fired, tarred and feathered, forced to eat their scripts and taken out and shot?" So the question is, have you noticed a big difference in the quality of the storylines or the dialogue since Sorkin left the show? |

| 6. Doug G wonders if you find the show has taken a turn towards the right since Sorkin left. He sites stay-at-home moms and school vouchers as examples. I see his point but is that a bad thing? I find that the left and the right are both half correct. I like it when the show promotes doing the right thing regardless of what political ideology that particular solution might be associated with. You? |
| Go back to promoting only liberal policies | # | % | |||
| 23 | 17% | ||||
| I like the bipartisan approach | |||||
| 109 | 82% | ||||

| 7. Jander has another beef about the writing. "Am I the only one who is getting annoyed with the fact the writers this season seem to be dredging things up from a previously non-existent past(ie. Leo suddeningly coming up with a best friend out of nowhere, Ben the forest ranger stalker; and now CJ sleeping with Hoynes 10 years ago) instead of building a future?" |
| Yeah, that's kinda cheap. No more please. | # | % | |||
| 43 | 31% | ||||
| It's been ok, but no more please. | |||||
| 49 | 36% | ||||
| Not bothering me in the least. | |||||
| 43 | 31% | ||||

| 8. This question from "CJ's double": Is anyone else seeing a continuity problem with C.J. and Hoynes having a "relationship" 10 years ago? This is the sixth year for the Bartlet administration. C.J. came along during the primaries, correct? And she was in California working for a public relations firm before that? When, where, and how would she have met Texas politician Hoynes? |
| I was wondering about that too | # | % | |||
| 53 | 41% | ||||
| Now that you mention it | |||||
| 41 | 31% | ||||
| Yeah the writers are getting lazy | |||||
| 35 | 27% | ||||
| 129 |
| 9. I have to say that CJ has the most loyal fan base. Some of you are really upset to learn that she slept with Hoynes. You? |
| Upset. It cheapens her character. | # | % | |||
| 52 | 38% | ||||
| Not upset. Makes her character more human. | |||||
| 62 | 45% | ||||
| I don't really care. | |||||
| 21 | 15% | ||||

| 10. Andrew W finds it unlikely that Ryan the intern would be left in charge of the base closure meeting. I agree, once again the writers stretch credibility for the sake of the storyline. Your thoughts? |
| Yep, pretty unlikely. | # | % | |||
| 96 | 71% | ||||
| Maybe, but doesn't bother me. | |||||
| 36 | 26% | ||||
